Personal Work

AETG (ADVANCED EFFICIENCY TRAVEL GEAR) has been a personal project since 2018. I started developing water proof sweatshirts (for hiking and travel) with overseas manufacturing plants in early 2019. For this project, I designed the shipping box as well as hang-tags for the sweatshirts.

The logo is developed and trademark registered with the United States Government. In order to pay tribute to the the location where the idea for the sweatshirts originated, I designed the AETG logo with intentional similarities to Icelandic Runes.

No mock-ups were used, all photography was done by Jacob Hosford.

Hang-Tag Back Designed to resemble the inside of the box; Using typography as back ground are the names of the United States’ National Parks. The tag also includes the website where I intend on selling the final product opticds.com.

Hang-Tag Front Designed to be similar to the outside of the box; the hang tag uses outlined Helvetica type and includes the imagery of a rising sun above the mountain top signifying the start of a new day as well as a new adventure.
